Steel losing ground, while a looming deadline for imposition of US tariffs on
China also played on investors’ minds. The day, however, belonged to cement
stocks with all the frontline scrips surging nearly ~3-4%.

Bank
Nifty relatively outperformed gains for the third consecutive day, ending the
weekly expiry with a rise more than 60 points at 26484, led by strong gains in
YES Bank and HDFC Bank. Bank Nifty managed to closed above 20 DMA on daily
charts which indicates buying in stock.
