जून तिमाही में 7.6% जीडीपी ग्रोथ का अनुमान
शाम साढ़े पांच बजे जून तिमाही के जीडीपी आंकड़े आएंगे। जीडीपी ग्रोथ पर रॉयटर्स के पोल के मुताबित जून तिमाही में ग्रोथ 7.6 फीसदी रहने की संभावना है। इस पोल में जीडीपी ग्रोथ की रेंज 7-8 फीसदी रहने का अनुमान जताया गया है। पिछले साल जून तिमाही में ग्रोथ 5.6 फीसदी थी। मैन्युफैक्चरिंग के कारण घरेलू मांग मजबूत है।

Today's Stock Market Updates-Nifty extends gains to trade around 11,700, Sensex mildly higher; pharma soars
After beginning the September series on a flat note, sharp buying in pharmaceuticals, IT and metals, among others, has helped the Nifty race past 11,700 on this morning. The Sensex is up over 100 points. Banks are currently trading flat, while automobiles are up around a percent on Nifty Auto index.
In the broader markets, Nifty Midcap is up over half a percent as well. Among shares, Idea Cellular is up 2 percent after NCLT approved its merger with Vodafone India, while Jet Airways is down 1 percent after MCA probes the airline for siphoning off of funds.
The Sensex is up 107.32 points or 0.28% at 38797.42, while the Nifty rose 38.90 points or 0.33% at 11715.70. The market breadth is positive as 1,257 shares advanced, against a decline of 564 shares, while 108 shares were unchanged.
Wipro, Sun Pharma, Bharti Infratel and HCL Tech are the top gainers, while Yes Bank and Reliance Industries have lost the most.

Jet Airways
recouped losses but still ended lower by 1.7 percent on Thursday. The airline
was in the news on Wednesday after a Business Standard report said that the
income tax department was probing a land deal between the airline and Godrej
Buildcon land development deal.

Shares of
government-owned telecom operator MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam) rose 10
percent intraday on Thursday based on a report that informed about Rs
30,600-crore financial aid from Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

Shares of
ITI surged 20% to Rs 112 on the BSE after the company said it has received an
advance work order (AWO) worth of Rs 66.34 billon from BSNL.

NBCC has
seen its market capitalisation erode by nearly half since November 2017 highs,
despite a healthy and growing order book. The key reason for the weak Street
sentiment is that execution has not matched the rising order book, which is
also reflecting in the firm’s flat revenues and earnings growth for fiscal year
2018.
5.
Shares of
select public sector undertaking (PSU) banks were trading higher by up to 11%
on the BSE on the report that the government has asked the Reserve Bank of
India (RBI) to prepare a list of suitable banks for merger.

recovery in the last hour of trade helped nifty cut big losses and end August
series on a slightly better note. However, the Nifty managed to close below
11,700-mark. For the series, Nifty gained around 5 percent, while the Midcap
index ended higher by 7 percent.
