Shares of CG
Power and Industrial Solutions gained 3 percent as entered into a strategic
alliance agreement with Tenaga Switchgear Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia (TSG). The
agreement between the companies includes product development and promotion of
11 kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) in Malaysia to address the rapidly growing
demand in this region.

Infosys
slipped over 3 percent in morning trade on Monday after company on Saturday
announced that its Chief Financial Officer M D Ranganath has stepped down to
pursue “professional opportunities in new areas”.

Larsen &
Toubro share price rallied more than 6 percent in morning on Monday ahead of
its board meeting to consider share buyback proposal later this week. The
company on Saturday said the board of directors will be meeting on August 23,
to consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares.

Vadilal Industries hit a 52-week low of Rs 587.05, down 20% on the NSE in
intra-day trade on the back of heavy volumes in an otherwise strong market

Shares of
Gitanjali Gems and Amtek Auto are locked in the lower circuit of 5% after the
BSE and NSE announced the suspension of trading in shares of nine firms
including these two from September 10, 2018. The suspension is for not
complying with listing norms pertaining to submission of financial results.
