Securities Exchange Board of
India (SEBI) allowed domestic stock exchanges to extend timing for equity
derivatives trading till 11.55 PM with effect from October 1, 2018.

Fortis Healthcare has appointed
investment banking firm Arpwood Capital as its second financial adviser on bids
that have come in for the company.

Ambuja Cementshas reported
standalone profit at Rs 271.8 crore for the quarter ended March 2018, a growth
of 10.3 percent over year-ago period. Profit for the quarter ended March 2017
stood at Rs 246.5 crore.

NIIT Technologies has posted 17.8
percent rise in its fourth quarter (Q4FY18) net profit at Rs 97.3 crore. It had
posted profit of Rs 82.6 crore in December 2017. Revenue from
operation increased 4 percent at Rs 788.8 crore against Rs 756.5 crore.

Shriram Transport Finance’s net
profit declined 3 percent year-on-year, missing estimates, because of an
increase in provisions for bad loans. Quarterly
net profit stood at Rs 144.6 crore, compared to Rs 149.6 crore in the year-ago
period.
