South Indian
Bank has reported massive 51.1 percent growth year-on-year in net profit at Rs
114.1 crore for the quarter ended March 2018.Profit during the quarter ended
March 2017 stood at Rs 75.5 crore. Net interest income, the difference between
interest earned and interest expended, grew by 12.1 percent to Rs 492.2 crore
in Q4 YoY while net interest margin improved to 2.84 percent during the
quarter, from 2.72 percent in year-ago.
