Shares of
Apollo Hospital Enterprises (AHEL) have surged 15% to Rs 1,087 per share on the
BSE after the company posted a strong 70.86% year on year growth in net profit
at Rs 601.6 million during the quarter ended June 30, 2018 (Q1FY19). It had a
profit of Rs 352.1 million during the same period last year.

Shares of
Sun TV Network have slipped 6% to Rs 776 per share on the BSE, after the
company reported 63% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit at Rs 4.09 billion
in June quarter (Q1FY19) driven by strong performance from its IPL franchise.
The revenue was up 42% at Rs 11.20 billion on YoY basis.

United
Breweries (UBL) rallied 7% to Rs 1,286 on the BSE in intra-day trade after the
company reported healthy 37% year-on-year (YoY) increased in net profit at Rs
2,219 million in June quarter (Q1FY19). Revenue grew 11.2% at Rs 18.66 billion
on YoY basis. The company reported 12% volume growth compared with industry
average growth of 9% during the quarter.

Shares of Bajaj
Electricals slipped 7.5% in intraday trade after Anant Bajaj, managing director
(MD), passed away on Friday following a heart attack.

Today's Stock Market TipsNifty above 11,300; Sensex up over 250 points; PSU banks, midcap up 1%
Shares of multiplex chain, PVR, rose around 10 percent on Friday morning as investors bet on the company renewing ticketing arrangement with Bookmyshow and Paytm.
The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 1,211.65 and an intraday low of Rs 1,134.00.
The company renewed its non-exclusive arrangements with Paytm and Bookmyshow for booking and selling the theatre’s ticketing inventory through web and app based platforms for three years.
After a weak two sessions, equity benchmarks on Friday morning have started the day on a good note.
At 09:15 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 182.90 points or 0.49% at 37348.06, while the Nifty is up 60.40 points or 0.54% at 11305.10. The market breadth is positive as 451 shares advanced, against a decline of 96 shares, while 41 shares are unchanged.
All sectoral indices are trading in the green, with gains in pharma, metals, energy and auto names, while midcaps have seen a strong start as well. The Nifty Midcap index is up over 0.6 percent.

Eveready Industries slipped 3% after the company posted a net loss of Rs16cr in
the March quarter due to a spike in operating costs. It had reported a net
profit of Rs10.5cr in the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue from
operations has increased to Rs349.7cr in Q4FY18 over Rs317cr in the Q4FY17.

Pharma sets up committee to assess feasibility of housing API and Consumer care
business in separate business entity.

Shares of
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) gains after the company reported a strong 50%
year on year growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 11.55 billion in March
2018 quarter (Q4FY18). It had profit of Rs 7.7 billion in the same quarter last
fiscal.

Shares of
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals tanks after the company reported a decline of 17% in
its consolidated net profit at Rs 1.52 billion for the quarter ended March 2018
(Q4FY18), on account of de-growth in US business. The drug company had profit
of Rs 1.84 billion in the same quarter last fiscal.

Dilip
Buildcon dips after the company reported 11% year on year (YoY) growth in its
consolidated net profit at Rs 2.18 billion in March 2018 quarter (Q4FY18). The
net profit growth during the quarter was lowest in past six quarters.

State Bank
of India has hiked interest rates on its retail fixed deposits for short to
medium term by up to 25 bps with effect from May 28, 2018.

Vedanta
ordered by Tamil Nadu government to seal and permanently close the copper
smelter plant at Tuticorin.

Today's Stock Market Live Updates-Sensex, Nifty off day's lows amid rupee recovery, fall in oil prices
The market is off its day's low amid rupee recovery and fall in crude oil prices. After digesting election results, investors closely watch movement of political parties for forming the government in Karnataka.
The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 171.57 points at 35,372.37 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 58.70 points to 10,743.20.
Oil prices fell, weighed down by ample supplies despite ongoing output cuts by producer cartel OPEC and looming US sanctions against major crude exporter Iran.
Brent crude futures, the international benchmark for oil prices, were at USD 78.26 per barrel, down 0.22 percent, from their last close.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were at USD 71.15 a barrel, down 0.22 percent, from their last settlement.
The market extended losses, with the Sensex falling more than 250 points on correction in banks stocks after disappointing earnings by PNB.
The Nifty Bank index is down more than 300 points while the Nifty Midcap slipped a percent.
Technology stocks outperformed as the rupee hit 68 against the US dollar, though RBI intervention helped it to recover sharply from lows of 68.13 a dollar.
The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 281.37 points at 35,262.57 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 92.90 points to 10,709.
About three shares declined for every share rising on the BSE.

पंजाब एंड सिंध बैंक
सीबीआई ने 621 करोड़ रुपये के फ्रॉड का एक और केस दर्ज किया है। सूर्या फार्मा के प्रोमोटरों के खिलाफ ये मामला दर्ज हुआ है।
पीएनबी
5 सरकारी बैंकों का एसएसके ट्रेडिंग पर 131 करोड़ रुपये बकाया हैं। एसएसके ट्रेडिंग पर बैंकों से 187 करोड़ का फ्रॉड करने का आरोप है। लीड बैंकर पीएनबी ने अभी तक एसएसके के बकाए का खुलासा नहीं किया है।
होटल लीला
कंपनी एलआईसी को जारी 90 करोड़ रुपये के एनसीडी का पेमेंट नहीं कर पाई है। 2016 से ही कंपनी ब्याज, मूलधन का डिफॉल्ट कर रही है। होटल लीला ने कहा है कि नकदी की तंगी से पेमेंट में डिफॉल्ट हो रहा है। कर्ज रीस्ट्रक्चरिंग की कोशिश की जा रही है।

कंपनी शेयर बायबैक ला सकती है। 27 अप्रैल को होने वाली बोर्ड बैठक में इस पर चर्चा होगी।

चौथी तिमाही में टाटा स्पॉन्ज का मुनाफा 21 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 47 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है। वहीं, इसी अवधि में आय 190 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 240 करोड़ रुपये हो गई है।
आइडिया
फर्स्ट स्टेट इन्वेस्टमेंट ने बल्क डील के जरिए आइडिया के 3.92 लाख शेयर 71.50 रुपये प्रति शेयर के भाव पर बेचे हैं।
टाटा पावर/रिलायंस इंफ्रा
दिल्ली में अघोषित बिजली कटौती पर ग्राहकों को मुआवजा मिलेगा। बिजली वितरण कंपनियों को पहले 2 घंटे के लिए 100 रुपये देने होंगे। दो घंटे के बाद हर घंटे 100 रुपये देने होंगे। 1 घंटे में बिजली नहीं आने पर मुआवजा देना होगा। दिल्ली सरकार ने इस प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है।

सोडा एश पर एंटी डंपिंग ड्यूटी एक साल के लिए बढ़ा दी गई है। रूस, टर्की से इंपोर्ट होने वाले सोडा एश पर एंटी डंपिंग ड्यूटी लगी है।

निफ्टी 10200 के नीचे बंद, सेंसेक्स 253 अंक लुढ़का
हफ्ते की शुरुआत घरेलू बाजारों के लिए गिरावट के साथ हुई है। सेंसेक्स 0.75 फीसदी गिरकर बंद हुआ है जबकि निफ्टी में 1 फीसदी की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है। निफ्टी 10,200 के नीचे बंद हुआ है जबकि सेंसेक्स ने भी 33,000 का अहम स्तर तोड़ दिया है। आज के कारोबार में निफ्टी 10,075.3 तक लुढ़का था जबकि सेंसेक्स ने 32,856.5 तक गोता लगाया।
मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयरों में भी बिकवाली देखने को मिली है। बीएसई का मिडकैप इंडेक्स 1.6 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ बंद हुआ है। निफ्टी के मिडकैप 100 इंडेक्स में 1.7 फीसदी की कमजोरी आई है। बीएसई का स्मॉलैकप इंडेक्स 2 फीसदी टूटकर बंद हुआ है।
बीएसई का 30 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स सेंसेक्स 253 अंक यानि 0.75 फीसदी गिरकर 32,923 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। एनएसई का 50 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स निफ्टी 101 अंक यानि 1 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 10,094.3 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है।
मेटल, बैंकिंग, आईटी, ऑटो, रियल्टी, कंज्यूमर ड्युरेबल्स और ऑयल एंड गैस शेयरों में जोरदार बिकवाली देखने को मिली है। बैंक निफ्टी 1 फीसदी गिरकर 24,245 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। निफ्टी के मेटल इंडेक्स में 2.7 फीसदी, पीएसयू बैंक इंडेक्स में 2.6 फीसदी, आईटी इंडेक्स में 2.2 फीसदी और ऑटो इंडेक्स में 0.7 फीसदी की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है। बीएसई के रियल्टी इंडेक्स में 3 फीसदी, कंज्यूमर ड्युरेबल्स इंडेक्स में 1.5 फीसदी और ऑयल एंड गैस इंडेक्स में 1.7 फीसदी की कमजोरी आई है।
आज के कारोबार में दिग्गज शेयरों में एचसीएल टेक, टाटा स्टील, भारती एयरटेल, टेक महिंद्रा, बीपीसीएल, कोल इंडिया, विप्रो और यस बैंक 4.25-2.6 फीसदी तक गिरकर बंद हुए हैं। हालांकि दिग्गज शेयरों में एनटीपीसी, मारुति सुजुकी, पावर ग्रिड, एलएंडटी और एचयूएल 1.3-0.8 फीसदी तक बढ़कर बंद हुए हैं।
मिडकैप शेयरों में सेंट्रल बैंक, आईडीबीआई बैंक, जेएसडब्ल्यू एनर्जी, सेल और अदानी पावर 7.5-4.6 फीसदी तक लुढ़क कर बंद हुए हैं। हालांकि मिडकैप शेयरों में वक्रांगी, जीई टीएंडडी, एनएलसी इंडिया, नाल्को और टाटा कम्युनिकेशंस 5-0.6 फीसदी तक चढ़कर बंद हुए हैं।
स्मॉलकैप शेयरों में जेबीएफ इंडस्ट्रीज, टीवी टुडे, एमएसआर इंडिया, इंटेलेक्ट डिजाइन और किर्लोस्कर ब्रदर्स 20-8.2 फीसदी तक टूटकर बंद हुए हैं। हालांकि स्मॉलकैप शेयरों में शिल्पा, एचईजी, केलटन टेक और डीआईसी इंडिया 7.4-4.7 फीसदी तक उछलकर बंद हुए हैं।
