Outlook of Nifty & Bank Nifty Today

Nifty Outlook:-

Nifty indices pared its losses but continued to be in the red, dragged down by Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports and ICICI Bank. Investors remained cautious after digesting Fed rate hike cautiously await European Central Bank policy rate decision due later in the day. Wholesale inflation spiked to 4.43 per cent in May, from 3.18% in April, according to the government data released on Thursday.

Bank Nifty ended volatile session in the red zone on the weekly expiry at 26580. US Federal Reserve raised interest rates and took a more hawkish tone in forecasting a slightly faster pace of tightening for the rest of the year.

आज बैंक निफ्टी की एक्सपायरी है। बैंक निफ्टी की वीकली एक्सपायरी पर सीएनबीसी-आवाज़ ने ब्रोकर्स के बीच पोल कराया है जिस पर 7 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स की राय है कि इस हफ्ते बैंक निफ्टी की एक्सपायरी 26500 के स्तर के नीचे होगी। वहीं 33 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स मानते हैं कि बैंक निफ्टी की एक्सपायरी 26500-26600 के बीच हो सकती है। इस पोल में शामिल 20 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स की राय है कि इस हफ्ते बैंक निफ्टी की एक्सपायरी 26600-26700 के बीच हो सकती है। वहीं, 27 फीसदी बोकर्स मानते हैं कि इस हफ्ते बैंक निफ्टी की एक्सपायरी 26700-26800 के स्तर के ऊपर होगी जबकि सिर्फ 13 फीसदी बोकर्स मानते हैं कि इस हफ्ते बैंक निफ्टी की एक्सपायरी 26800 के स्तर के ऊपर होगी। ब्रोकर्स के मुताबिक बैंक निफ्टी के एक्सपायरी के दिन आज एसबीआई और एक्सिस बैंक में बढ़त देखने को मिल सकती है।

Stock Market Trading Tips-Sensex under pressure; Europe down ahead of ECB policy meeting

The market continued to trade lower in afternoon with the Sensex falling around 150 points as investors digested interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve and await European Central Bank policy rate decision due later in the day.

Infosys fell nearly 3 percent as the stock adjusted for dividend of Rs 30.50 per share.

Mindtree dropped 3 percent after Citi downgraded the stock to Sell from Neutral but raised target price to Rs 970 from 875

The 30-share BSE Sensex slipped 160.84 points to 35,578.32 and the 50-share NSE Nifty declined 57.50 points to 10,799.20. About three shares declined for every two shares rising on the BSE.

The market remained under pressure tracking global weakness after the US Federal Reserve hiked interest rate by 25 basis points for the second time in 2018 and also indicated more hikes going ahead.

The Sensex dropped 207.97 points to 35,531.19 and the Nifty fell 68.70 points to 10,788, weighed by Infosys, Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and IOC.

About three shares declined for every two shares rising on the BSE.

Nifty Market Trading Tips

Nifty traded with a positive bias right through the day before trimming gains in the final hour of trade as traders expressed concern ahead of the crucial Federal Reserve monetary policy meeting, which would announce the policy later in the day. A 25bps hike is expected.
