Outlook of Nifty & Bank Nifty Today

Nifty Outlook:-

Nifty opened gap up on Wednesday and traded with a positive bias throughout the day. The benchmark index managed to end the day near the high point of the day at 11,450, up 60 points. The index formed a bullish candle on the daily charts after two successive bearish candles. The next crucial resistance for the index is placed at 11,500-11530 while support is placed at 11,330.

Bank Nifty Outlook:-

Bank Nifty closed above the 28,000-mark for the first time and ended 186 points higher at 28,062. Nifty PSU Bank Index was the best performing sectoral index and closed 0.89% higher.

Nifty traded sideways throughout the day on today’s trading session and closed below 10950 mark. Midcaps underperform. IT stocks were the star performers in today's trade, IT Index closed 2 percent higher led by TCS as it managing to end the session 5 percent higher.

Bank Nifty snaps six days of winning streak could not able to sustain on higher side and ends in red zone. Bank Nifty is facing stiff resistance i.e. of 27060 which can be seen in below charts if able to give breakouts and sustain above it than buying could be seen.

Nifty ended sharply lower on the expiry day of June futures & options contracts, dragged by banking & financials and Reliance Industries. Weakness in the rupee and lingering trade tensions between the US and China also dented market sentiment.

Bank Nifty ended the session and June series with major cuts. Maximum cuts came in from PSU banks, Nifty PSU bank index was down 7 percent, while real estate index fell over 9.5 percent. The Bank Nifty fell over 2 percent.
