Today's Stock Market Trading Tips-Sensex opens over 100 pts lower, Nifty around 10,350; IT continues to gain

Benchmark indices began the day on a negative note, with the Sensex cracking over 100 points. The Nifty was trading below 10,350-mark.

The Sensex is currently down 117.85 points or 0.35% at 33727.01, and the Nifty is down 52.95 points or 0.51% at 10344.50. The market breadth favours the decline as 192 shares advanced, against a decline of 329 shares , while 91 shares are unchanged.

All sectoral indices are trading in the red, while midcaps are also trading weak. Nifty PSU bank index is down over 1 percent.

Wipro, Bajaj Auto and Kotak Mahindra Bank are the top gainers, while ONGC, BPCL, Aurobindo Pharma and SBI have lost the most.

The Indian rupee declined in the early trade on Thursday. It has opened lower by 29 paise at 65.05 per dollar versus 64.76 Wednesday.

असमंजस की है स्थिति, किन सेक्टर पर करें फोकस

सेंट्रम वेल्थ मैनेजमेंट के ईडी और सीआईओ, कुंज बंसल का कहना है कि आईटी सेक्टर में हलचल फिर से लौटती नजर आ रही है। हालांकि बाजार में करेक्शन के चलते आईटी सेक्टर में हलचल नजर आ रही है। अगर आईटी सेक्टर में कारोबारी ग्रोथ देखी जाए तो वो अभी भी मजबूत नजर नहीं आ रही है। लिहाजा आईटी सेक्टर में अभी सिर्फ ट्रेडिंग के मौके हैं, और मध्यम अवधि में रिकवरी के संकेत नहीं हैं।

कुंज बंसल के मुताबिक मीडिया सेक्टर में भी ट्रेडिंग के मौके ही नजर आ रहे हैं। दरअसल नोटबंदी और जीएसटी के चलते कंपनियों की ओर से विज्ञापन पर खर्च कम किया गया है, ऐसे में मीडिया कंपनियों के लिए विज्ञापन आय पर दबाव दिख रहा है। आगे भी विज्ञापन आय में दबाव कायम रह सकता है। कुंज बंसल का मानना है कि इंश्योरेंस सेक्टर को लेकर काफी उम्मीद है। आने वाले दिनों में इंश्योरेंस सेक्टर में अच्छी ग्रोथ देखने को मिल सकती है। लंबी अवधि के लिहाज से इंश्योरेंस सेक्टर पर जरूर दांव लगाना चाहिए।

कुंज बंसल का कहना है कि टेक्सटाइल सेक्टर से भी अच्छे रिटर्न हासिल किए जा सकते हैं। टेक्सटाइल सेक्टर के शेयरों में काफी करेक्शन देखने को मिला है, और अब मौजूदा स्तरों पर अच्छे मौके नजर आ रहे हैं। वहीं कपास की कीमतों में लगातार बढ़ोतरी के बाद गिरावट देखने को मिल रही है, इससे टेक्सटाइल कंपनियों को जरूर फायदा होगा।
