Bank Nifty Bank Nifty after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) sprung a surprise and kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.50 per cent. Most experts had expected the central bank to hike rates by 25 bps.Heavy losses were also visible in banking stocks with the Nifty Bank index slipping 1.5 per cent. YES Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda (BoB), IDFC Bank and ICICI Bank lost up to 5.1 per cent.

ब्रेंट क्रूड का भाव 86 डॉलर प्रति बैरल के पार पहुंच गया है। सप्लाई की चिंताओं से कच्चा तेल उछला है। तेल मार्केटिंग कंपनियों पर दबाव की आशंका है। साथ ही टायर और पेंट कंपनियों पर भी दबाव संभव है। एविएशन सेक्टर पर भी दबाव बढ़ेगा।

वहीं कमजोर रुपये और महंगे क्रूड के चलते ईसीबी नियमों में ढील दी गई है। आरबीआई ने 1,000 करोड़ डॉलर जुटाने को मंजूरी दी है। तेल कंपनियों 3-5 साल के लिए पैसा जुटा पाएंगी और रकम का इस्तेमाल वर्किंग कैपिटल की जरूरत के लिए किया जा सकेगा।

आईएलएंडएफएस

आज आईएलएंडएफएस बोर्ड की बैठक होने वाली है। आरबीआई और सेबी से नए बोर्ड को मंजूरी का इंतजार है। वहीं एनएचएआई और सिडबी को आईएलएंडएफएस की मदद के लिए कहा जा सकता है। कर्ज रीस्ट्रक्चरिंग के लिए आईएलएंडएफएस को मदद संभव है। एसएफआईओ की जांच रिपोर्ट 1 महीने में आने की संभावना है।

श्रीराम ट्रांसपोर्ट

श्रीराम ट्रांसपोर्ट ने एसवीएल के एनसीडी के लिए दी गई गारंटी वापस ले ली है। एसवीएल के 650 करोड़ रुपये के एनसीडी के लिए गारंटी दी थी। श्रीराम ट्रांसपोर्ट ने 30 जून 2015 में कॉरपोरेट गारंटी दी थी।

सीमेंस

टाटा और सीमेंस कंसोर्शियम ने पुणे मेट्रो की बोली जीती है।

एलएंडटी

एलएडटी हाइड्रोकार्बन कंसोर्शियम को ओएनजीसी से 11,740 करोड़ रुपये का कॉन्ट्रैक्ट मिला है।

एनएलसी इंडिया

एनएलसी इंडिया का बोर्ड शेयर बायबैक पर 9 अक्टूबर को विचार करेगा।

जीएमआर इंफ्रा

मूडीज ने जीएमआर हैदराबाद इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट की रेटिंग घटा दी है। हैदराबाद इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट की रेटिंग घटाकर निगेटिव की गई है।

Stock Market Trading Tips-Bulls in control on D-Street! Sensex, Nifty trade strong; pharma, metals surge

Equity benchmarks have continued to maintain upward momentum, with the Nifty trading well above 11,400, while the Sensex is higher by around 200 points. A stronger rupee and a likely profit booking sentiment is weighing on tech stocks, with the Nifty IT index falling almost a percent. 

However, other major sectors are trading in the green, with maximum gains seen in banks, metals, pharmaceuticals, as well as auto names. Midcaps, too, are trading strong and pushing indices higher. The Nifty Midcap index is up over a percent.  

At 09:45 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 194.94 points or 0.52% at 37912.90, and the Nifty up 70.00 points or 0.62% at 11439.90. The market breadth is positive as 1,344 shares advanced, against a decline of 375 shares, while 90 shares were unchanged.

Power Grid, Yes Bank, Indiabulls Housing and HPCL are the top gainers, while Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and HCL Technologies are the top losers.

Today's Stock Market Tips-Sensex extends gains after flat start, Nifty above 11,300; FMCG, IT gain

Support from a rally in index heavyweights such as ITC, HUL, Infosys and HDFC is helping the market trade higher, even as other sectoral indices are trading in the red. 

The Sensex is up 114.17 points or 0.31% at 37527.30, while the Nifty is up 24.90 points or 0.22% at 11312.40. The market breadth is negative as 723 shares advanced, against a decline of 859 shares, while 79 shares were unchanged.

Equity benchmarks have begun the day on a flat note, with the Nifty trading below 11,300 in the opening tick. The Sensex is trading marginally higher. Banks are taking a hit this morning, with the Bank Nifty trading lower by one-third of a percent. Pharmaceuticals are also trading in the red. Meanwhile, after days of a fall in FMCG names, the Nifty FMCG index is up around one-third of a percent. Meanwhile, in the broader markets, Nifty Midcap is trading flat with a negative bias.  

The Sensex is up 37.83 points or 0.10% at 37450.96, while the Nifty is down 0.70 points or 0.01% at 11286.80. The market breadth is narrow as 422 shares advanced, against a decline of 408 shares, while 46 shares are unchanged.

Stock Market Trading Tips-Rangebound trade continues at Dalal Street; Shriram Transport top midcap loser

The market remained rangebound with the Nifty hovering around 10,700 levels as traders eagerly await June quarter earnings that will start next week.

The Sensex fell 0.47 points to 35,378.13 and the Nifty declined 0.50 points to 10,699.40.

The Nifty Midcap is down third of a percent while the sectoral trend is mixed with Nifty Pharma rising over a percent.

Shares of Shriram Transport Finance tanked around 14 percent as investors turned cautious of a guarantee of Rs 870 crore provided by the firm for its unlisted subsidiary.
