1.                   The GST Anti-Profiteering Body ruled that Hindustan Unilever (HUL) profiteered to the extent of Rs535cr against the company’s claim of Rs160 crore.

2.                   Vedanta said it will set up a new steel plant in Jharkhand with a capacity of 4.5 mn tonne (MT) per annum at an investment of $3-4 bn.

3.                   Autoline Industries entered into MOU with Poddar Habitat to transfer land at Chakan, Pune. The company will utilize the sale proceeds to settle debt that has a charge on the above said immovable property and reduce overall debt exposure of the company.

4.                   Suprajit Engineering expects second half of current financial year to be better. Consolidation of auto component space to gather pace; open for both strategic asset purchases and acquisition.

5.                   Vadilal Industries defers limited review report. The company said audit committee and board of directors have not been able to conclude on certain matters.

6.                   Nagarjuna Fertilizers said that the company it is in process of a long-term debt resolution with its lenders. It has also restarted production of Urea from Unit 1 of Kakinada plant.

Outlook of Nifty & Bank Nifty Today

Nifty Outlook:-

Bulls made a roaring comeback on a day that looked like a bearish day. A sharp recovery across sectors, particularly in the broader markets, helped the indices end sharply higher. The Nifty clocked 10,700 again and ended above that mark. The day began on a bearish note, with indices giving up key levels.

Bank Nifty Outlook:-

Equity markets have gained momentum in the last hour of trading and are hovering around the day's high. Bank Nifty climbed 243 points to trade at 26,958. However, the index rose 600 points from intraday lows to 27,008. Maximum gains were seen in HDFC Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda, and Kotak Mahindra Bank, which rose between 2-1% each.

सेंसेक्स 250 अंक नीचे, निफ्टी 10580 के आसपास

सोमवार को भी अमेरिकी मार्केट में भारी उतार-चढ़ाव देखने को मिला। इस बीच डॉनल्ड ट्रंप का फेडरल रिजर्व पर हमला जारी है। ट्रंप फेड चेयरमैन पॉवेल को हटाने की कोशिश में हैं। पॉवेल पर ट्रंप के बयानों से भी बाजार फिक्रमंद है। ट्रंप नें अपने ट्वीट में कहा है कि हमारी इकोनॉमी के लिए सबसे बड़ी समस्या फेड है। वो मार्केट, ट्रेड वॉर, मजबूत डॉलर या बॉर्डर की समस्याओं को नहीं समझता। इस बीच ब्रेंट 6.2 फीसदी फिसलकर 16 महीने के निचले स्तर पर आ गया है। उधर आज के कारोबार में एशियाई बाजारों में सुस्ती नजर आ रही है। हालांकि हांगकांग का बाजार आज बंद है। कमजोर ग्लोबल संकेतों के बीच भारतीय बाजार भी आज कमजोरी के साथ खुले हैं।

शुरुआती कारोबार में सेंसेक्स और निफ्टी की चाल कमजोर नजर आ रही है। फिलहाल सेंसेक्स करीब 250 अंक कमजोरी के साथ और निफ्टी करीब 70 अंक गिरावट के साथ कारोबार कर रहा है।

दिग्गज शेयरों के साथ ही आज मिड और स्मॉलकैप शेयरों ने भी कमजोर शुरुआत की है। बीएसई का मिडकैप इंडेक्स 0.54 फीसदी की कमजोरी के साथ 15,089.07 के स्तर पर और स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स 0.31 फीसदी कमजोरी के साथ 14,421.35 के स्तर पर कारोबार कर रहा है। हालांकि ऑयल एंड गैस शेयरों में आज क्रूड की कमजोरी का असर दिख रहा है बीएसई का ऑयल एंड गैस इंडेक्स 0.3 फीसदी की बढ़त दिखा रहा है।

बैंक शेयर भी आज बिकवाली के दबाव में हैं जिसके चलते बैंक निफ्टी 0.63 फीसदी टूटकर 26,545.25 के स्तर पर नजर आ रहा है। बाजार में आज चौतरफा बिकवाली का दबाव है। फार्मा, आईटी, ऑटो, एफएमसीजी शेयरों में भारी कमजोरी दिख रही है। निफ्टी का फार्मा इंडेक्स 1.3 फीसदी, ऑटो इंडेक्स 1.2 फीसदी, आईटी इंडेक्स 1.2 फीसदी, एफएमसीजी इंडेक्स करीब 1 फीसदी और मेटल इंडेक्स 1.01 फीसदी की कमजोरी दिखा रहा है।

फिलहाल बीएसई का 30 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स सेंसेक्स 250 अंक यानि 0.70 फीसदी की कमजोरी के साथ 35220 के स्तर के आसपास कारोबार कर रहा है। वहीं एनएसई का 50 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स निफ्टी 75 अंक यानि 0.71 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 10590 के नीचे कारोबार कर रहा है।

Stock Market Trading Tips-Sensex plunges nearly 400 points, Nifty around 10,550; OMC stocks gain

Market opens It is a negative start on D-Street, with the Sensex falling over 150 points, while the Nifty tested 10,600.

The Sensex is down 155.73 points or 0.44% at 35314.42, while the Nifty is down 51.00 points or 0.48% at 10612.50. The market breadth is negative as 223 shares advanced, against a decline of 259 shares, while 39 shares were unchanged.

All sectoral indices are trading in the red, with maximum cuts visible among automobiles, IT, metals and pharma seeing the most pain. The Nifty Midcap index is almost half a percent lower. 

Asian Paints, Yes Bank, IOC and BPCL were the top gainers, while HUL, Tata Steel, and Hindalco lost the most.

1.                   Fortis Healthcare stock in focus today as SEBI orders Singh brothers and other eight group companies to repay Rs 403 crore to company itself.

2.                   Bandhan Bank clarified that the bank was unaware of the news that it is in talks with HDFC for control of Gruh Finance. The bank also stated that it is evaluating various opportunities and will not comment on market speculation.

3.                   IndiGo signed codeshare mutual agreement with Turkish Airlines. The aviation company said this agreement is a part of its international expansion strategy.

4.                   Sundaram Finance stock in focus today. According to media reports, Competition Commission of India approves acquisition of 40% stake of Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company to Ageas Insurance International N.V.

5.                   Himachal Futuristic Communications has received two contracts totalling Rs148cr from L&T to execute the telecommunication systems projects for the Mauritius Metro Express Project and for the Dhaka Metro Mass Rapid Transit System.

6.                   EPC Industrie board approved change in the name of the company from EPC Industrié Limited to Mahindra EPC Irrigation Limited.

7.                   Power Grid acquired Jawaharpur Firozabad Transmission Limited (JFTL), the project SPV to establish transmission system for evacuation of power from 2 x 660 MW Jawaharpur Thermal Power Project and construction of 400 kV substation at Firozabad along with associated Transmission Lines, on build, own, operate and maintain (BOOM) basis from REC Transmission Projects Company Limited.
