Stock Market Tips-Sensex gains 200 points, Nifty around 11,850; Reliance Home dips 7%

It is a positive start for the indices on July 1 with Nifty around 11,850.

At 09:17 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 201.06 points or 0.51% at 39595.70, and the Nifty up 57.80 points or 0.49% at 11846.70.  About 570 shares have advanced, 217 shares declined, and 50 shares are unchanged. 

IndusInd, Bank, UPL, Indiabulls Housing, Vedanta, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Zee Entertainment, Yes Bank, Bajaj Auto, ICICI Bank, Cipla, Wipro, RIL and Adani Ports are among major gainers on the indices, while losers are BPCL, IOC, Gail and Titan.

All the sectoral indices are trading in the green led by metal, pharma, FMCG, auto, banks, energy and infra.

It is a strong start for the April F&O series on Friday with Nifty above 11,600 level.

At 09:18 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 171.30 points or 0.44% at 38717.02, and the Nifty up 49.60 points or 0.43% at 11619.60.  About 592 shares have advanced, 203 shares declined, and 50 shares are unchanged. 

The gainers are IOC, Indiabulls Housing, Hindalco, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, RIL, BPCL, Can Fin Homes, Vodafone Idea, Jet Airways, PFC, REC while losers include Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Eicher Motors, SBI life and Motherson Sumi.

All the sectoral indices are trading in green led by metal, energy, infra, IT, pharma and auto.

Except metal, auto and pharma, all other sectoral indices are trading with marginal gain.

Stock Market Updates-Sensex off highs, Nifty continues to hold 10,700; RBI Board meet begins

Market Update Equity benchmarks were higher on Monday morning, with Sensex rising over 100 points. The Nifty held 10,700.

The Sensex is up 106.39 points or 0.30% at 35563.55, while the Nifty was higher by 21.80 points or 0.20% at 10704.00. The market breadth was narrow as 899 shares advanced, against a decline of 712 shares, while 80 shares unchanged.

Equity benchmarks have opened higher on Monday with Nifty is well above 10,700 mark, while Sensex also gained more than 150 points.

At 09:16 hrs, the Sensex is up 160.65 points at 35,617.81, while Nifty is up 40.60 points at 10722.80. About 536 shares have advanced, 231 shares declined, and 44 shares are unchanged. 

Jet Airways down 10 percent, Bharti Airtel is down 2 percent, Siemens is down 4 percent, HPCL, IOC, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank are among major losers. Tata Investment gained 7 percent.
