Stock Market Trading Updates-Nifty hovers around 10,450, Midcap extends losses; PSU Bank falls 1%

Equity benchmarks rebounded in opening on Tuesday, with the Sensex rising more than 100 points, backed by pharma, metals and technology stocks.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 147.65 points at 33,960.40 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 55.60 points at 10,491.10. About 1,057 shares advanced against 270 declining shares on the BSE.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Dr Reddy's Labs, Cipla, Sun Pharma, GAIL, Tata Steel, Coal India, TCS, HCL Technologies and Infosys were early gainers.

SBI and Eicher Motors were early losers.

Nifty Midcap index gained 120 points on strong market breadth.

Castex Technologies, Unitech, Alok Industries, DB Realty, Thermax, TVS Motors, EID Parry, Bajaj Hindusthan and Reliance Power rallied 2-10 percent.

2018 में कैसी रहेगी बाजार की चाल!

साल 2017 में तो बाजार ने निवेशकों को मालामाल कर दिया। लेकिन क्या 2018 में भी वैसी ही कमाई होगी। किन सेक्टर्स में सबसे ज्यादा रिटर्न मिलेगा, कहां होगी निराशा। इस पर सीएनबीसी-आवाज़ ने ब्रोकर्स के बीच एक पोल कराया है। हमारे रिसर्च एनालिस्ट इस पोल के नतीजे लेकर आए हैं। आइए जानते हैं कि ब्रोकर्स 2018 को किस तरह देख रहे हैं।

सबसे पहला सवाल था कि 2018 में निफ्टी से कितना रिटर्न संभव है, इस पर 41 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स ने कहा कि 2018 में निफ्टी से 10-20 फीसदी का रिटर्न मुमकिन है। वहीं 12 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स के मुताबिक 2018 में निफ्टी से 30 फीसदी से ज्यादा का रिटर्न संभव है। हालांकि 12 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स का मानना है कि 2018 में निफ्टी में निगेटिव रिटर्न मिल सकता है, जबकि 35 फीसदी का कहना है कि निफ्टी में 0-10 फीसदी का रिटर्न संभव है।

ब्रोकर्स से पूछा गया कि 2018 में किन सेक्टर्स में सबसे ज्यादा रिटर्न मिलेगा, इसके जवाब में ब्रोकर्स ने कहा कि इस साल फार्मा, इंफ्रा और आईटी सेक्टर में अच्छा रिटर्न मिल सकता है। वहीं यह भी सवाल किया गया कि 2018 में कौन से सेक्टर निराश कर सकते हैं, और इसके जवाब में ब्रोकर्स ने कहा कि बैंक और एनबीएफसी, ऑयल एंड गैस और ऑटो सेक्टर से निराशा हो सकती है।

अगला सवाल था कि 2018 में कॉरपोरेट इंडिया की कितनी ग्रोथ होगा, इसके जवाब में 46 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स का मानना है कि कॉरपोरेट इंडिया के लिए 5-10 फीसदी की ग्रोथ मुमकिन है। वहीं 24 फीसदी ने कहा कि कॉरपोरेट इंडिया की ग्रोथ 10 फीसदी से ज्यादा रह सकती है। हालांकि 12 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स का कहना है कि 2018 में कॉरपोरेट इंडिया की ग्रोथ फ्लैट से निगेटव रह सकती है, जबकि 18 फीसदी ने माना कि कॉरपोरेट इंडिया की ग्रोथ 0-5 फीसदी रह सकती है।

क्या 2018 में आरबीआई ब्याज बढ़ाएगा, इसके जवाब में 65 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स ने हां में अपना जवाब दिया जबकि 35 फीसदी का मानना है कि आरबीआई की ओर से ब्याज में बढ़ोतरी नहीं की जाएगी। 2018 में क्रूड 50 डॉलर तक फिसलेगा, इसके जवाब में 35 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स ने माना कि ऐसा संभव है लेकिन 65 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स का मानना है कि क्रूड 50 डॉलर तक फिसलने की उम्मीद कम है।

वहीं यह भी पूछा गया कि मोनेट इस्पात, भूषण स्टील में दांव लगाएंगे, इसके जवाब में 35 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स ने कहा कि हां वो दांव लगाएंगे। हालांकि 65 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स का कहना है कि वो मोनेट इस्पात और भूषण स्टील पर दांव नहीं लगाएंगे। आगे बजट को लेकर सवाल था, और पूछा गया कि 2018 में बजट कैसा रहेगा? इस सवाल के जवाब में 24 फीसदी ने कहा कि बजट लोकलुभावन होगा और 6 फीसदी ने कहा कि बजट में रिफॉर्म पर फोकस होगा। 70 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स का कहना है कि बजट में रिफॉर्म और लोकलुभावन घोषणाओं, दोनों का संतुलन देखने को मिलेगा।

अगला सवाल भी बजट से ही जुड़ा था और ब्रोकर्स से पूछा गया कि क्या 2018 के बजट में इनकम टैक्स दर घटेगी। इस सवाल के जवाब में 82 फीसदी ब्रोकर्स ने माना कि 2018 के बजट में इनकम टैक्स की दरों में कटौती की जा सकती है, लेकिन 18 फीसदी का मानना है कि बजट में इनकम टैक्स दर नहीं घटेगी। ब्रोकर्स से बिटकॉइन को लेकर भी सवाल किया गया। 2018 में बिटकॉइन का बुलबुला फूटेगा, इसके जवाब में 76 फीसदी ने माना कि हां, ऐसा संभव है। हालांकि 24 फीसदी मानते हैं कि 2018 में बिटकॉइन का बुलबुला नहीं फूटेगा।

Today's Stock Market Trading Tips -Sensex, Nifty continue to trade flat amid tepid volumes; midcaps maintain uptrend

Benchmark indices began the New Year on a flat note, but the midcaps were trading higher and outperforming the benchmarks in the opening tick.

At 09:16 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 11.14 points at 34067.97, while the Nifty was down 11.40 points or 0.11% at 10519.30. The market breadth was positive as 576 shares advanced against a decline of 178 shares, while 2,878 shares were unchanged.

Among stocks, State Bank of India (SBI), L&T, Hero MotoCorp and GAIL were the top gainers, while HUL, Wipro and Infosys were the top losers.

In the currency space, Indian rupee opened marginally higher at 63.84 per dollar on Monday versus 63.87 Friday.

Pramit Brahmbhatt of Veracity said, "The rupee will trade on a flat note. We expect the spot USD-INR pair to trade in a range of 63.50-64."

According to Ajay Manglunia of Edelweiss, the volatility in the bond markets is expected to persist over the next few sessions."
